Each month, Family Trails shares a theme to guide and inspire your Instagram storytelling.

In August, we changed up the format of our monthly photography challenges.

First and foremost, our photo challenge hashtag changed. Previously, we asked you to use #FamilyTrailsTales to submit to the monthly theme. Starting in August, each month we will announce a NEW hashtag that coincides with the specific theme. Our theme for September was "Collect."

As the seasons turn, it's fun to get out into nature and observe those changes close up. So we asked you to take your family outside and collect whatever interests you, then share your findings with #FT_Collect!

Because we have been happily overwhelmed with the quality of submissions, in August, we decided we will now be picking four participants each month to receive FamilyTrails swag. Each swag recipient will be announced on Thursdays during the theme period.
