Hello, we are the O'Connell family! Together, we spend as much time as possible in nature. We are recent residents to Dallas, Texas. Prior, we lived in Salt Lake City, Utah. Utah is where we fell in love 10 years ago while adventuring together. Our adventures before having kids ranged from snowboarding to peak bagging to desert dwelling. After having our son, our adventures haven't changed much (just our packs and gear have). We are bound and determined to show our son our passion for adventure while instilling a love for mother nature. We have added new goals as adventure parents. When home, we are in pursuit of visiting all 95 Texas State Parks. On our days off work, we are either jetting off or road tripping all across the United States as we show our son the diversity of this natural world.

The sun is nearly setting as we pull into a dirt parking lot located 33 miles down a dirt road and situated practically in the middle of the desert. Months of planning and small backpacking trips have led us to this moment.
